Please join us virtually on December 12 to hear Shannon Curth present Increasing L&D Value: Collaboration with Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Many organizations pride themselves on "continuously improving", so much so that they often have individuals or teams dedicated to formal continuous improvement programs or initiatives. L&D is an integral piece to a successful continuous improvement program or process improvement project. In this session you will learn how to partner with Continuous Improvement employees or teams and help them see the value an L&D professional can add to their work.
Objectives:
Shannon Curth, Director of Training & Continuous Improvement for Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, R&D, and EHS at Medline Industries, has 10+ years of experience in the corporate learning space. Through her work in insurance and healthcare, she has developed partnerships between L&D and the Continuous Improvement functions with IS, manufacturing, and distribution teams contributing to millions of dollars in cost savings through process improvements. In her session, expect to learn how to: -Increase the value you and/or your L&D team can have in an organization by becoming an integral part of the Continuous Improvement process -Develop and pitch a value statement on the impact your skills and offerings can have on Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives -Identify the links between L&D project cycles and Continuous Improvement project cycles
