ATDChi is the leading Talent Development organization in Chicagoland. Since our founding in 1943, we have been THE place to be for education, industry knowledge, networking, and just out right FUN.

Volunteering is a great way to enhance your resume. It also gives you a chance to meet other professionals on a deeper, more candid level.  Whatever your reason, we're thrilled you want to share your expertise, energy and time with us.

How can you help?

Programming
  • Support us on the technical side with your webinar production expertise and technology/AV skills to help our events run smoothly in our very virtual world.
  • Help ensure the logistics for our virtual events (and one day when we’re back in-person) run smoothly, from set-up to take down and everything in between.
  • Flex your data analysis chops by helping us better understand how we’re making an impact in our communities with evaluations, surveys, reports and metrics!
Event Management
  • Help shape our events into what you want to see: Spotlight the diversity of our community, feel like you’ve come home when you come to our events, and make meaningful experiences for all.
Curriculum Development
  • Design, develop, or facilitate engaging content or CPTD/APTD study groups for Online and Face-to-Face learning.
  • Help shape our conferences for our community as we gather and grow together.
  • Excellent at building and maintaining relationships? Help us by being a liaison with Professional Development Networks or Special Interest Groups.
Finance & Operations
  • Run with an internship program to help others just starting their career in Finance.
  • Assist with Financial management for our chapter.
University Relations
  • Make a difference with those just beginning their Talent Development journey by spreading the word to students and helping to forge strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations.
Marketing
  • Love social media? Help us spread the word and capture our amazing events.
  • Get involved with our community to help us understand how to best serve and reach Talent Development pros in the Chicagoland area
  • Help grow and keep our community connected through newsletters, social media, or in new ways we haven’t even thought of yet!
  • Create/maintain our website as the go-to resource for all things Talent Development.
ATDChi is an all volunteer organization. Our volunteer opportunities vary to match your needs and availability. Get involved in a one time event, or help serve in a longer term commitment. We're confident we can find the right fit for you!
