Join Morgean Hirt and the ATD Chicagoland Chapter for the second session of a special two-part series on the ATD Talent Development Capability Model facilitated by Morgean Hirt from the Association for Talent Development! Released in January 2020, the Talent Development Capability Model is a framework that responds to those trends affecting talent development, such as digital transformation, data analytics, information availability, and partnerships between talent development and business, and guides what practitioners need to know and do to develop themselves, others, and their organizations.

Following an exploration of this new competency framework for the profession and completion of the self-assessment in Part I, join your colleagues from the region to review the identified skill gaps of professions in the region. ATD’s Director of Credentialing Returns to review the aggregate self-assessment results of Chicagoland Chapter members, as compared to others around the world.

This session will help you:

  1. Identify knowledge and skill gaps of talent development professionals in the region
  2. Understand how those compare to gaps across all talent development professionals
  3. Build a plan to close the largest gaps for professionals in the area

Participants need not have attended Part I to join this session (Part II).
