Is Your Training Brain-Aware?
By understanding why and under what conditions the brain shies away from learning and resists new behaviors, you will discover new approaches for learning and growth. You will also explore ways to stimulate adults’ brains to be curious, to seek new learning and new ways of doing things.
On May 17, 2017, in the full-day workshop, Using Brain-Aware Approaches for Optimal Learning, you will hear stories and analogies will illuminate how the adult brain learns. Cathleen Taylor and Katherine Marienau, the workshop leaders, without getting mired in unnecessary details of brain architecture, will guide you through variety of activities, share and build on your current best practices, and explore new and expanded approaches to add to your repertoires for fostering optimal learning.
All registrants will receive a copy of the book, Facilitating Learning with the Adult Brain in Mind: A Conceptual and Practical Guide (Jossey-Bass, 2016).
