Adding a certification can help you grow your knowledge, and skills, increase your earning potential, expand your career options, and serve as a differentiator in a competitive job market!
The Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is broad based and measures a talent development professionals’ competency in 10 areas of expertise (AOEs) with a focus on global mindset as defined by the latest ATD Competency Model.
The Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) is a certification for talent development professionals who are in the early part of their careers or whose professional roles and aspirations are focused on a few areas of expertise.
In this webinar, CPLP- and APTD- accredited professionals will discuss their experience obtaining and maintaining the certifications and how they have contributed to their professional and organizational life. Among the questions they will address are:
• Why should these certifications be in your career plan?
• Why should your organization include APTD and CPLP in its talent development plans?
• What are the steps to achieving an APTD or a CPLP?
• How do you prepare yourself for the APTD and CPLP?
• How will an APTD or a CPLP contribute to your professional life and growth?
Bring your questions about the certification to add to the discussion.
In addition, ATDChi will be kicking off a certification opportunity with the support of our Gold Sponsor, CARA, to support our members who have decided to add CPLP to their credentials. Join us to learn how ATDChi continues to Connect, Learn, and Grow the Chicagoland Talent Development profession and how you can participate.
