For 129 years, Sears and Kmart have revolutionized the retail industry from mail order catalogs to homes to insurance to big box retailing to online and now omnichannel. For one night only, ATDChi will be able to get a look inside the Talent Development operations that support the constant evolution of these iconic brands. Join us at the Sears Holdings corporate campus as we hear directly from their Learning Team how they employ the full spectrum of gamification into their learning models.

Gamification is a popular buzzword. But how many of us actually know what it is? Or how to apply it in our organizations or with clients?

Luckily for you, the Sears Holding group will share with us how they incorporate the full spectrum, including:

  • Learning games: Examples of how Sears has used content to engage, motivate and enhance learning for a diverse workforce of millenials to baby boomers
  • Gamification: See a real world implementation of enterprise gamification that measures learning and performance across a range of job roles including retail store associates, call center agents, technicians
  • Special Bonus: Get a peek at a broader set of tools including engagement and feedback that can be dovetailed with other business metrics to pinpoint specific talent development initiatives
  • Application: Participate in an activity to apply these innovation ideas in your organization or with your clients

Not only will you get this inside look into the headquarters of a learning organization that supports hundreds of thousands of employees, you will also have the opportunity to network with a world-class learning staff to discuss, share, and brainstorm how you can apply gamification tied to business metrics within your own or your clients’ organizations.
