 Program Description:

In today’s fast-paced, interdependent environments, leaders are increasingly called to navigate complexity—not by choosing between competing priorities, but by holding them in dynamic tension. These tensions, or polarities, show up in everyday leadership dilemmas: stability::change, candor::diplomacy, individual needs::team goals.

This interactive session, “Developing Leaders to Navigate Complexity — Tools for Both/And Leadership,” is designed for Leadership Coaches, and Talent and OD practitioners who support leadership development and strategic change. Together, we’ll explore:

·       Common organizational and leadership polarities and their impact on leadership behavior

·       How polarity thinking enhances decision-making and leadership effectiveness

·       A tool to help leaders recognize, map, and navigate polarities in coaching or leadership development forums

Participants will leave with new awareness of these often-hidden leadership challenges and ideas for how to coach and develop leaders to strengthen their capacity to thrive in complexity.

Presenter: Jane Shlaes, President of Mindell Leadership, a leadership coaching and consulting organization, is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over 30 years of experience in all facets of talent development.

 Program Format:

Initial presentation, with large group & small group interactive discussions blended in. Informal Zoom atmosphere. We ask that all participants keep their camera on during the entire program, to promote good involvement and interaction.

To register, send an email to CODPNetwork@gmail.com by Tuesday, November 18 (free program). You will receive a Zoom link during that week of the program.
