Are you a student looking to get into Talent and Development? Are you an education professional looking to make your mark into the Talent and Development space?

Please join us on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 for the ATDChi's Back to School Event - Education at the Core!

Talent Development's objectives are obvious to TD practitioners + consultants. Likewise, education professionals are clear about their academic goals and impact areas. There are sometimes missed opportunities due to misinterpretations on both sides.

Join this in-person conversation as our expert panel peels back the layers, exploring and understanding the priorities of TD and education to bridge that gap.

Agenda:

  • 5:30-6:30 Registration, Networking, and Welcome
  • 6:30-7:30 Live panel discussion - Moderated by Jason Berry
  • 7:30-8:30 Closing Remarks, Networking

Featured Speakers:

Eric Kurtz, MBA - Executive Director, Workforce & Professional Development Institute, College of Lake County

Eric is an experienced organizational development leader with a successful track record of collaborating with business leaders, employees and partners to reach goals through the strategic development of the most important resource, the human resource. He believes his experience, business acumen, creativity and expertise in talent development best practices gives him the ability to assess, design, develop and implement organizational development solutions that produce results.

Dale Ludwig, PhD - President and Founder, Turpin Communication

Dale helps presenters, trainers, and meeting facilitators be more effective and efficient in the work they do. He started his career as a high school English teacher. Then, while earning his PhD in Communication and for a few years after, he taught at the university level. While he enjoyed teaching on both of these levels, it was not until I began training and coaching business people that he felt he was making an immediate and lasting difference in people’s lives.

Since founding Turpin Communication in 1992, Dale has enjoyed watching his methodology evolve to meet the unique needs of each client. They have broken free of traditional approaches to presenting and facilitating and landed on higher ground. Their evolution led to the publication of “The Orderly Conversation: Business Presentations Redefined,” authored with Greg Owen-Boger (Turpin’s VP). Our book has been called “groundbreaking” and earned 5 (out of 5) stars from both the Portland Book Review and the San Francisco Book Review.
