Program Description
The pandemic has caused a great deal of disruption in talent acquisition and the way teams find and retain talent. Changes in candidate expectations, the Great Resignation and resulting increase in open roles, virtual interviewing and onboarding, remote workers – all have loaded new demands on recruiting teams and fundamentally changed the approach to finding talent.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a whopping 19 million workers quit their jobs between March 2021 and July 2021. We’ll discuss the underlying societal causes that are changing worker perspectives and impacting the talent shortage and look at how the volatility and dire nature of these talent challenges call for a broader focus on recruitment, retention and engagement.

About the Speaker
Gayle Norton is the President of Eclipse HR Talent Solutions, Inc with more than 20 years of management, consulting, sales and recruitment industry experience. Through a consultative customer-centric partnership model supported by highly experienced recruiters and consultants, Gayle assists her clients through recruitment optimization and talent strategy consulting to improve the talent acquisition function, and Executive Search and On-Demand Recruiting to find the top talent needed to drive business and gain competitive advantage. Working in multiple industries, Gayle has led engagements at companies ranging from startups and emerging growth companies to large, global employers including Harley-Davidson, Cadence Health, US Cellular, Verizon Wireless, Motorola, American College of Surgeons, USG, Ulta, and Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.
Gayle brings a healthcare and pharmaceutical background to her consulting career. She was a Registered Nurse and then led a sales area for a pharmaceutical company where she won numerous awards for performance excellence. She moved into consulting where she led her own consultancy focusing on operational change and talent acquisition initiatives, moved into a corporate Director or Recruiting and Recruitment Technology role, became a consultant and Managing Director with a talent acquisition consulting firm, and then to a Director of Talent Strategy role. Program Format:
Mix of presentation (brief), large group & small group interactive discussions. Informal Zoom atmosphere. We will ask that all participants keep their camera on during the entire program, to promote good involvement and interaction.
