Is your organization prepared to tell your human capital management (HCM) story publicly? As of 26 August 2020, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) ruled that effective 4QFY20, all public companies are required to disclose key human capital metrics and initiatives that investors would need to know to evaluate the company as a whole. The purpose of modernizing the disclosure statement is to allow investors to make more informed investment decisions. Public disclosure of HCM will also provide current/prospective employees insights into an organization’s people practices.
This new SEC mandate is a huge win for investors and employees while offering strategic opportunities for L&D to step up immediately as strategic business partners!
Join Dr. Stacey Boyle, Chief People Planner, Smarter People Planning, to learn about the SEC ruling and L&D's role in HCM Disclosure. Hint: you will need to help your organization tell your public HCM story and you need to start ASAP. In this session, we will discuss the steps you need to take to be prepared to report 4QFY20 and beyond to stay in compliance. Following a 45-minute presentation, Stacey will hold a 30-minute Q&A to discuss any questions you have about the ruling or what and how to report.
