Program Description:

Communicating with others can be frustrating, drain your energy and feel nearly impossible. What if you could turn the desert of miscommunication that exists into an oasis where you have refreshing conversations that lead to empathy, insight and mutually beneficial agreements? In July 2018, Ann presented the OASIS concepts to the group. The discussion was robust and Ann agreed to continue the conversation. If you weren’t here for part 1, please feel free to attend. Ann will review the key OASIS principles and how she is supporting leaders and teams in creating an open environment.

We will explore 8 stances for embodying an open mindset. We will reflect on what keeps us open or closed. Ann will share about the Open Conversation Project which is a part of the Societal Transformation Lab. The purpose of the project is to explore what supports people in being open or closed. The session will be practical and explore how to address organization communication challenges on an organizational, team and individual level.

Ann Van Eron draws on scientific brain research and decades of coaching experience to share a process for breaking through communication barriers and achieving mind-opening connections with others. Find out why global organizations, Fortune 500 corporations, and even families are benefiting from the OASIS Conversation® process. Learn how to create positive and productive environments to minimize misunderstandings and reap amazing results.

We will explore:

  • The five OASIS Moves that have been tested all over the world to engage in emotionally intelligent conversations with anyone who has a different perspective (everyone)
  • The eight stances for embodying an open mindset
  • What supports people in being open or closed
