BYOC (Bring Your Own Case): Peer Consultation at its Finest!

  • May 25, 2018
  • 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Northern Trust, 181 W. Madison-7th floor, Chicago IL

Whether our roles are inside organizations, or consulting with clients from outside organizations, we all have Learning & Development projects that could provide a wealth of insight to our colleagues, and from which we might gain our own insights through sharing with our colleagues.

Please bring a sample project you are working on these days that you would be willing to share with colleagues as either a best practice, or a challenge to seek input on. Though it is ok to just have the project ready to share verbally, our suggestion is that you bring the following on one page:

  • Name of organization (or type of organization, if confidentiality is important)
  • Type of internal or external service called for or being provided there – topic and form of service
  • Best practice aspects you are proud of, and/or questions you have for colleagues to provide input

If you don’t have a project to include right now, but are interested in being in on the discussion, please do come anyway – everyone is welcome!

Program Format: Mix of presentation, large group & small group discussion.
Informal atmosphere: Please bring your own coffee/tea/snacks (note: there is a convenient Au Bon Pain connected to the building as well as a place to buy coffee and snacks on the 7th floor near our meeting).

Have questions in advance of this session? If so, feel free to contact
Steve Garrett at steve.garrett@garrettconsulting.us or (773)973-6450.
