Session 4: Blended Learning and Materials Development

Learning Objectives

Define the following learning methods: e-learning, learning technologies, blended learning and experiential learning.
Define the five basic learning styles.
Create a blended learning experience.
Understand the important differences between developing an instructor-led classroom based training vs. an e-learning training.

The WLPI certificate may be applied toward graduate & undergraduate degrees at DePaul School for New Learning

HRCI recognizes each module of the WLPI as continuing education credit for PHR/SPHR. Each module counts as 6 hours of non-strategic credit.

Substitutions and Cancellations
If a student is unable to attend an individual module or the entire session, they may substitute another participant in their place, at no penalty.
Cancellations must be received at least 14 days before the before the session to avoid a $75 cancellation fee. No credit or refunds will be given after the start of the Institute.
If a cancellation is requested once the full session has already started, the participant may attend another full session at a later date.
