Session: Building Organizational Resilience: There's A Gap for That!

For over 20 years, Holly has helped diverse organizations improve the impact of strategic culture change, leadership development, & performance improvement initiatives. She is passionate about developing resilient leadership capabilities that enable high engagement & performance.

Formerly with Apple, clients include the: International Union Against Tuberculosis & Lung Disease; State Bar of California; National Park Service; Chevron; California Public Employees Retirement System; UC Davis Talent Management Center; Blue Cross; & the National Security Agency.
An accomplished talent builder, change leader, & recognized measurement expert, she was recognized with the 2017 "Global Training & Development Leadership Award.” As a certified SPHR, certified ROI professional, & certified Prosci practitioner, she is a sought-after speaker, coach, facilitator, and CLO Learning Elite Judge. Publications include the award-winning book “Learning for the Long Run”, along with featured contributions to ATDs TDBoK, ATDs Foundations of Talent Development series, and ASTDs Handbook for Measuring & Evaluating Training. Her doctorate is in Human Capital Development.

Session: Case Study: Talent Development’s Strategic Role in Building Capacity to Lead through Change and Crisis

Anita Countryman, is Vice President of Member Experience at the Rock Valley Credit Union and has over 25 year’s experience leading teams and change initiatives in finance and healthcare. In her current role, she is responsible for human resources, training and organizational development, and key result areas impacting the success of the vision, mission and strategic plan.  Anita is a highly strategic and influential member of the executive team at RVCU, which is a progressive and growth orientated organization. She works closely with the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer. The core of her experience is serving people and helping them adapt in times of uncertainty. These skills have been demonstrated via mergers and acquisitions, organizational upheaval and global pandemics.  At RVCU she is leading the branch operations teams through a time of high tech / high touch strategic initiates. Anita is a highly skilled change agent and trained in the CQ® System for developing Change Intelligence®, which she has leveraged at RVCU to build change leadership capabilities at all levels, and which has guided the institution’s strategic initiatives and crisis response, positively impacting the outcomes.  Anita holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Judson University.

JD Dillon is an expert on frontline enablement as well as one of the most prolific authors and speakers in the workplace learning community. For 20 years, JD has worked in operations and talent development with some of the world’s most dynamic organizations, including Disney and Kaplan. He is now Chief Learning Architect with Axonify, where he builds technology, content and services that enable frontline employees around the world to do their best work every day. JD is also the founder of LearnGeek, a workplace learning insights and advisory firm.

Tatyana Fertelmeyster is a Founder and Principal of Connecting Differences, LLC. As a
consultant, trainer, and coach Tatyana partners with her clients to save their time and
resources by increasing clarity of communication and decreasing conflict, creating
positive customer experience and minimizing complains. Being a Licensed Clinical
Professional Counselor is instrumental in Tatyana’s From Inside Out and From Insight
to Outcome approach to coaching.

She provides coaching for teams and leaders with the focus on maximizing individual
strengths in the service of collective results, trust building, and intercultural competence
development. She also coaches high potential professionals in personal, cultural, and work-related transitions.

Dr. Esther Jackson

Keynote: Times are Uncertain but your Steps to Resilience and Innovation Shouldn't Be

Dr. Esther Jackson works as a consultant doing project management and instructional design work. She is also a National Advisor for Chapters with the Association for Talent Development (ATD). At the local level of ATD, she currently serves as Past President for the ATD Detroit Chapter. Her background includes presenting webinars, facilitating workshops, and presenting at conferences such as the Training Magazine Conference & Expo and the ATD Chapter Leaders Conference along with writing articles for the TD Magazine. Topics for her presentations have included adaptability, change management, data analytics, emotional intelligence, engagement, leadership development, project management, and many more. She holds a doctorate in education from Walden University and a master’s in instructional technology. Esther is working on her first book dealing with adaptability and it is due to be published in 2021.

Among his clients have been large financial institutions, insurance companies, manufacturers, universities, and associations with leaders throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.

Erich Kurschat is the owner of Harmony Insights LLC  a company that helps organizations and consultants leverage the DiSC personality assessment.  He is also the founder of HRHotSeat (HRHotSeat.com), an inclusive mastermind community of real HR pros solving real HR problems.  Erich draws from a broad range of experiences as a corporate HR professional, a public speaker, a career coach, a classical musician, and a proud introvert to inspire others toward meaningful work and productive workplace relationships.

Krista Skidmore is cofounder and partner of FlashPoint, a leadership development consulting firm with a 18-year track record of achieving client outcomes and company growth. Early in her career, Krista worked in human resources, talent acquisition, compensation, and training and development roles, so she’s had more than 20 years of experience with a front-row seat to the powerful ways leadership and talent transform organizations. Krista earned a juris doctor degree from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in human resource management and psychology from Anderson University. She is certified as an SPHR and SHRM-SCP.

Eddie is an official ATD Facilitator.  He is the Past President of ATD Houston—one of ATD’s largest chapters.  Eddie is also one of 60 contributing subject matter experts to the newly released Talent Development Body of Knowledge—The Definitive Resource for the Talent Development Profession by the Association for Talent Development.
