Cracking the Nut: The Future of Developing Leaders

  • December 06, 2016
  • 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • : Northwestern University, Walter Anneberg Hall, Room G02, 2120 Campus Drive, Evanston, IL 60208. Parking is free after 4 PM. The closest lot is just west of Annenberg next to Garrett Seminary.

Leadership development continues to be a vital investment by companies - upwards of $10B-$200B is spent on it each year.   It remains a high demand need by executives, but all too frequently with disappointing results.  Yet budget and time constraints and learner needs push us to innovate more rapidly than ever.

At this session, we'll look into developing future leaders by hearing from a practitioner, consultant, and millennial who will share their journey and what are they doing to crack the nut from a personal and organizational perspective.  They will discuss their quest to challenge the status quo in designing new solutions and what happened as a result.  There will be time to ask questions and further explore what should be done with developing leaders and how to incorporate new thinking to advance organizational and personal growth.
